Last Night Art Saved My Life

Last Night Art Saved My Life

Are we surviving? How are we surviving? How can we support each other better? Can we flourish? Can art help save us individually and collectively when psychological pain is intense? What can institutions and arts professionals do better to support mad artists in our moments of pain and distress?

We had the pleasure of being invited to take visual minutes at Last Night Art Saved My Live, an informal series of discussions about arts and mental health, curated by the vacuum cleaner, produced by Artsadmin and hosted by the Live Art Development Agency (LADA) in London, on the 26th June, 2018.

Artists Selina Thompson, Lucy Hutson, Bobby Baker, Hana Madness, Daniel Oliver and the vacuum cleaner presented short provocations on their strategies for survival.
